Mark James Daniel

Mark James Daniel, age 73, of Arcanum, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born November 22, 1949 to Harold & Helen (Recker) Daniel in Fort Loramie, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Melanie (Perry) Daniel; sister Rose (John) Beyke. 

He will be missed and remembered by his loving sons Matthew William Daniel of Fairborn, Christopher John Daniel of Sitka, AK, James Riley Daniel of Fairborn; siblings Steve (Cindy) Daniel of Trotwood, Ted (Rhonda) Daniel of Ft. Loramie, Ed (Linda) Daniel of Ft. Loramie, and Jeanette Daniel of Covington, LA.

Mark served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and was member of the Church of the Transfiguration. He was very active in volunteering for the Boy Scouts where he was a scout leader for Troop 972. Mark also loved volksmarching and collecting rocks.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the Church of the Transfiguration, 972 S. Miami St, West Milton. Interment will be held in Mote Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Monday, April 17 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to 40 Days for Life, 4112 E. 29th St, Bryan, TX 77802 or Church of the Transfiguration.
