Marvin David Elleman of West Milton, age 87, passed away on September 28, 2021. He was born on July 22, 1934 in West Milton to the late Arthur T. and Agnes M. (Favorite) Elleman. Marvin graduated from Tipp City High School in 1953. He went on to work as a toolmaker for the Hobart Corporation, and after retirement worked for Brush Creek Farms for almost 20 years. Marvin also proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid Milton-Union football and Cincinnati Reds baseball fan and enjoyed gardening, fishing, puzzles, working on the farm, and spending time with his family.
Marvin is preceded in death by his siblings Carolyn Wackler, Marthel Maupin, and Robert Elleman. Marvin will be missed and remembered by his loving wife of 62 years, Retta Mae (Schwartz) Elleman; children David (Jennifer) Elleman, Bruce (Deanna) Elleman, and Rebecca (John) Ostendorf; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and siblings Doris Jane Martin, Thelma Mae Moore, Ruth Zurwell, Richard Elleman, and Kathleen Pitts.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton, with burial following at Curtis Cemetery, Brush Creek.
