Michael J. Marcum

Michael James Marcum, age 62, of Celina, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born November 27, 1956 to Vernon Marcum & Rosemary S. (Swisher) Thies in Troy, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his father Vernon Marcum. He will be missed and remembered by his mother Rosemary S. Thies of Union and siblings Kimberly Bittorf of Englewood, Debra Thies of Union, Lisa Slicer of Centerville, and Sherry Olson of Charlotte, NC. Michael served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He also loved going fishing and hunting. The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a memorial service beginning at 1:00 PM.
