Monty T. Parson

Monty T. Parson, age 74, of West Milton, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at his home after a 7 year battle with cancer. He was born August 14, 1947 in Garrad County, Kentucky. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Terri (Boian) Parson of 49 years; sons Matthew Parson and Steven Parson; 5 grandchildren; siblings Don (Donna) Parson, Ruth (Red) Myers and Carol Day; brother-in-law Dusty Thompson; nieces and nephews; best friend David (Sue) Stacy. Monty served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and retired from Delphi. He loved fishing, going to flea markets, and loved the Lord and lived as such. He was a great fisherman of men for the Lord and no matter what trials or hardships he had to bare, he was always the first to say “I’m Blessed.” A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 15, 2021 in Old Union Cemetery, Ludlow Falls.
