Nancy Anne Fessler

Nancy Anne Fessler, age 82, of Tipp City, formerly of West Milton, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born December 24, 1938 to the late Gale Madison & Mildred Elretta (Syler) Hill in Troy, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Bill Fessler in 2020; grandchildren Kristyn and Kailee Fessler; sisters Charlene Ross and Linda McKibben. She will be missed and remembered by her loving sons Stan (Penny) Fessler of Pleasant Hill and Von (Michelle) Fessler of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren Jason Fessler, Joshua Fessler (Lindsey O’Dell), Kira (James) Cullers, Justin (Paige) Fessler, Veronica (Joshua) Laurent, Michael (Angel) Fessler; great grandchildren Harlow Fessler, Lilith Cullers, Gabriel Laurent, Lila Laurent, Whitley Anderson, and Myla Fessler; brother Nelson Hill of Pleasant Hill; and numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. Nancy was a Newton High School graduate and attended Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. Nancy worked for and retired from Drs. Hammon and Faze, Faze and Ginn and Ginn and Kaz in West Milton. In 1987, Nancy came out of retirement to assist Drs. Jim Augustine, Bill Cole, Jeff Snyder and Jim Lewis in the formation of Southwestern Ohio Emergency Services which became Premier Health Care Services where she served as their Executive Director. She was a member of the Miltonian Women’s Club and Women’s Card Club. Nancy also loved gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, September 15 at the funeral home.
