Nellie F. (Busby) Besecker

Nellie F. Besecker, age 88, of West Milton, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. She was born November 20, 1937 to Phillip & Mamie F. (Belcher) Busby in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Larry Besecker in 2010; sister and brother-in-law Mary Lou & Bill Graham.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving daughters Ramona (Gary) Grossman of Ludlow Falls, and Rae Jean (Greg) Bridenbaugh of West Milton; granddaughters Shannon Summer, and Ashley (Mike) Harrison; 4 step grandchildren; great grandchildren Jocelyn Summer, Annalyn Black, William and Harper Harrison; 6 step great grandchildren.

Nellie retired from driving school bus for Milton-Union Schools after over 25 years of service. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of God and loved crocheting, playing cards, and gambling.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Sunday, June 7 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill Church of God, Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, or Union Township Life Squad.
