Nelson Hill Obituary Nelson Allen Hill

Age 80, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born at Piqua Memorial Hospital to his parents Gale & Mildred (Syler) Hill. He was welcomed home to Pleasant Hill by his three sisters. Nelson was a 1962 graduate of Newton High School. He enlisted in the Army in 1962 and served for five years. After serving our nation, he became an electrician for Western Electric. He worked overseas for 30 years and retired to Pleasant Hill in 2013 when he met his four grandchildren. His hobbies included traveling, photography, and woodworking. He lived his life to the fullest and with no regrets. Preceding him in death were his parents, Gale & Mildred, and his three sisters Charlene Ross, Linda Lou McKibben, and Nancy Fessler, as well as his faithful wife of 51 years Hannah (Allen) Hill. Nelson was the longest living male Hill descendent. He is survived by his three amazing daughters and their families: Julie & Richard Trucksis and their son Dalton, Jodi & Mike Benton, Jennifer & Lee Rademachir and their children Kyle Wolfe, Anna Wolfe and Brendan Rademachir. Private family services will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Memories may be shared with the family at www.jackson-sarver.com .
