Norma Jean Kindell, age 93, of West Milton, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Koester Pavilion. She was born February 19, 1931 to Harold David & Fern Mae (Rudy) Coppock in Pleasant Hill, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son David (Michelle) Kindell; brother Norvin (Irene) Coppock; daughter-in-law Marcia (Neisley) Kindell.
She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband Robert Kindell of 72 years; children Brent Kindell of Ludlow Falls, and Beverly (Ronald) Wogoman of Troy; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Jean was a 1949 Newton High School graduate and went on to work at various places at Cannery in Pleasant Hill, Hobart Corporation in the Collections Department, on a Dairy Farm in the fields. In 1956, she helped start the Kindell Tool & Die, Inc with her husband Bob where she took care of all the books and Payroll for 29 years then started KT Consultants in her home where she took care of all the books for 26 years then retired after 55 years of service. She was a member of the Salem Church of the Brethren and loved to sew, doing various paper crafts, and making latch hook rugs.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Monday, September 16 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salem Church of the Brethren.
