Norma Parmenter Obituary

Norma Bernadine Parmenter of Ludlow Falls, age 85, passed away on March 30, 2020 at Hospice of Miami County. Norma was born on October 23, 1934 in Dayton to the late Henry “Harry” Busse and Henrietta Mary (Westgerdes) Busse. She married Charles W. Parmenter on October 6, 1956, and they began their life and family together. Norma was a bookkeeper for the National Biscuit Company & Miami Graphics Services, Inc. for many years. She enjoyed square dancing, was an amazing seamstress & avid puzzle maker, and most of all loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her son Dave A. Parmenter; siblings Alvin (Helen) Busse; Alvera (John) Telek; Harry Busse; Robert Busse. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles W. Parmenter; children Jeanine M. Benasutti and Tim E. (June) Parmenter; grandchildren Daniel J. Benasutti, Patrick B. (Samantha) Benasutti, Corianne E. (Cicely) Jones, Katheryn Michelle (Sean) Mastrino, Kristie M. (Lorenza) Wyatt, Kimberly D. (Brendan) Parmenter-Wynards, Charles M. Parmenter, Stacey Burgess and Kimberly Burgess; and great-grandchildren Heidi, Dominic, Brody, Liam, Kion, Emma, Zachary, and Andi; sisters-in-law Bonnie Busse and Carolyn Busse.

Private services will be held by the family, with burial following at Saint Valbert Cemetery, Versailles. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.
