Age 77, of Troy, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. She was born February 11, 1942, in Troy, Ohio, the first child to Floyd “Whitey” & Thelma (Miller) Fessler. Pat is survived by her 5 nieces, 3 nephews; numerous great nieces and great nephews; beloved traveling girlfriends Ann Gonzalez, Linda Schwartz, Fonda Brogan; longtime school friends Bev Robbins, Judy Amick, Linda Sampson, Becky Phillis, Kathy Lepper, Linda Baldwin, Shirley Locker ; sister-in-law Diana Fessler; former husband LaVaune Locker. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister Bonnie; brothers Gary Fessler & Robert Fessler who she cared for deeply; and longtime companion Harry Seaman. Pat was a 1960 graduated of Newton High School. After graduation, Pat was employed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as an administrative assistant in the Engineering Management Operations Office and retired after 37 years of service. Pat always enjoyed spending special times with her close WPAFB work friends and other friends on shopping trips, vacations, and other get togethers. Pat was a caring person who loved spending time with her nieces, nephews, and the rest of her family at family gatherings. She spent many enjoyable times with her longtime Newton School friends who will always remember her for homemade peanut butter fudge.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 21, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill History Center.
