Patricia "Pat" A Malloy

Patricia “Pat” A. Malloy, age 90, of West Milton, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. She was born March 28, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio to Paul and Dorotha Thill.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dale Malloy; her parents; brothers Bernard, Donald, James, and Charles Thill; sister Mary Cates.

She will be missed and remembered by her son Richard Malloy of West Milton; daughter Brenda (Scott) Hinkle of Dayton; granddaughters Deanna “DeDe” (Andrew) Murphy and Jennifer Malloy; great grandchildren Sarah Murphy, Charlotte Murphy, and Alex Murphy; sister Roberta Meyer of Destin, FL; brother Michael Thill of Dayton.

Pat retired from Huntington Bank (formerly Milton Federal). She enjoyed supporting the Camp Fire Girls by being involved in leading as well as working with both County and State Fairs, spending many weeks living in a hot, sticky dormitory at the Ohio State Fair. Pat enjoyed beating her family at games and was quite competitive and gave a mean stink eye when she had been one-upped. She enjoyed bingo as well as sitting at a machine playing the slots (preferably winning). Unfortunately, she never made it onto the Cash Explosion show. Pat was an avid needle worker, including knitting and cross stitch, and made and donated many lovely and cherished pieces. She was always clipping and sharing newspaper articles that she thought her family members would enjoy. Her family will miss the funny and heartfelt cards she sent for birthdays, anniversaries, and important events.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning a 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to Hannah’s Treasure Chest, 2490 Technical Dr, Miamisburg, OH 45342.
