Pauline Landis

Age 94, of Troy, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Randall Residence of Tipp City. She was born November 3, 1922, in Tipp City, Ohio, to her parents Robert Brubaker & Hazel (Ross) Brubaker Saul. She graduated from Troy High School Class of 1940. On March 29, 1947, she married Raymond Landis who preceded her in death in 2000. Pauline worked at Hobart Corporation in Troy and retired after 43 years from the Human Resources department. She was a member of the Troy Senior Citizens Center, Staunton Grange, Quarter Century Club at Hobart, and joined the Trojan Rebekah Lodge in December 1940. She will be missed and remembered by her sister-in-law Betty Copeland, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, her many good friends, neighbors, and all those whose life she touched. “ A precious one from us is gone, a voice we loved is stilled, a place is vacant in our hearts, which never can be filled”. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 17, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill with interment following at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 580 Lincoln Park Blvd Suite 320, Kettering, OH 45429.
