Phillip George Smith, age 75, of West Milton, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born November 23, 1947 to George R. & Lillie Pearl (Dean) Smith in Dayton, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son Tyler Smith; sister Jenny Lawson. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Peggy Lee (Zimmerman) Smith of 57 years; sons Doug (Renee) Smith of Laura, Jeff (Alicia) Smith of Laura; Don Smith of Englewood; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters Barbara (James) Sauceman of Tennessee and Trisha (Dale) Knight of Tennessee; brother-in-law Leon Lawson of Tennessee.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4-6 PM on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Private interment will be held in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville at a later date. Online memories of Phillip may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
