Phillip A. Yahle, age 76, of Ludlow Falls, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Hospice of Miami County. He was born September 25, 1947 to John W. & Leontine (Allen) Yahle in Dayton, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers John “Sonny” Yahle and Robert (Verna) Yahle; brother-in-law Ed Moore; nephew Gregory Yahle.
He will be missed and remembered by his wife Sandra S. (Clevenger) Yahle of West Milton; daughter Christina (Randy) Booher of Laura; grandchildren Justin (Jenelle) Booher, Joshua (Sari) Booher, Jessica (Jake) Cassel, Jenna Booher (Hayden Banta); great and great great grandchildren Jordan, Addison, Harper, Skylar, Nate, Bryson, Destiny (Cole), Desiree, Dustin; siblings Joyce Moore of Bertha, MN, Daniel (Barb) Yahle of Vandalia; sister-in-law Connie Yahle of Troy; numerous nieces and nephews.
Phil served his country proudly in the United States Army. He coached over 30 years basketball and football teams and players including his grandchildren. Phil also loved going fishing “At the Cabin” and golfing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton, OH 45383. Burial will be held at 2:00 PM in Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Ave, Dayton, OH 45409. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM on Sunday, March 10 at the funeral home.
