Phyllis R Fuson

Phyllis Ruth Fuson, age 79, of Arcanum, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born February 4, 1945 to Eldern C. Gilbert & Roxie (Williams) Bishop in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son Tim Fuson; siblings Shirl Settles, Ty Gilbert, Barry Bishop, and Sue Coda.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband Alva Lee Fuson of 62 years; childre Angie Fuson of Arcanum, Alva (Kerry) Fuson of Laura, and Tobie Fuson of Arcanum; grandchildren Lacey (Ty) Thacker of Union City, IN, and Katey (Denver) Apple of Versailles; great grandchildren Dash, Aberrey and Lex Thacker, Grayson and River Apple; siblings Lawney Gilbert, Euvon Gilbert, Danna Olendorf, Karen Luff, Jeff Bishop, and Donna Hopper and numerous brothers and sisters in laws, nieces and nephews.

Phyllis loved spending time with her family especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved watching her great grandchildren play sports, and sitting on her porch drinking a good cup of coffee.
