Randy L Wieser

Randy Leland Wieser passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026 in Dayton, Ohio at the age of 71.

Randy was born October 21, 1954 to Gary and Patricia (Stockslager) Wieser. He graduated from Milton-Union High School with the class of 1973 and went on to have a varied career across several trades. Randy was most proud of his time at the Gregory Stone Company, where he served as quarry foreman. While there, he developed a love for Ohio paleontology and the local geology. He was a man who liked staying busy and had many hobbies, including woodworking, painting, fishkeeping, fossil-hunting, gardening, birdwatching, and card collecting — among others. He was also deeply passionate about sports, and a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds.

He will be dearly missed and remembered by his loving son Joshua Wieser (Megan Hudson), parents Gary and Pat Wieser, brothers Steve, Jeff, Chris, and Dennis Wieser, cousin Susan Wieser, and nephews Nate and Matt Wieser.

A brief graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Mote Cemetery in Pitsburg, Ohio. Online memories of Randy may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
