Raymond "Bud" Applegate

Raymond “Bud” E. Applegate Jr, age 85, of West Milton, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023. He was born January 12, 1938 to Raymond & Pearl (Tower) Applegate in Ludlow Falls, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings William Applegate, Mary Ann Wion, Richard Applegate, Glenna Hicks, Dorothy Berman, and Robert Applegate. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Luella Jean (Borts) Applegate of 62 years; four-legged companions Sugar Plum and Gizmo; nieces, nephews and other extended family. Bud retired from Coate Burial Vault after 53 years of service and loved to go fishing.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton.
