Richard Andrew Macy

Richard Andrew Macy, age 48, of Xenia, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. He was born October 11, 1976 in Dayton, Ohio to Richard and Sandy (Fitzgerald) Macy.

He will be deeply missed and remembered by his parents Richard and Sandy Macy; fiancé Jeni Peters; four-legged companion Ivory; siblings Pam Curry of Springfield, Cindy Taylor of Bradyville, TN, Cathy McCoy of Arcanum, Jamie Baker of Greenville, Jodie Bowling of Lewisburg, Mandy Macy of Pitsburg, Dale Macy of Arcanum.

Richard enjoyed gardening, mushroom hunting, and listening to live music.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM to 12 PM on Monday, September 8, at Shepherd’s Field Christian Church, 28 Cross St, Potsdam, Ohio, with funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery in Laura. Memorial contribution may be made to a Humane Society of one’s choice. Memories of Richard may be shared with the family online at www.hale-sarver.com.
