Richard Ray Phillips
Age 61, of Tipp City, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at Troy Care and Rehabilitation. He was born June 1, 1961, in Dayton, Ohio, to his parents Gerald Ray & Carolyn Lee (Wilson) Phillips. He graduated from Tipp City High School class of 1979 and earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He collected rare beer cans and enjoyed attending rock concerts. He will be missed and remembered by his loving parents; his brother and sister-in-law Steven M. & Mickie Phillips of Tipp City; nephew Eric & Lauren Phillips and their children Owen and Olivia; niece Emily & Andrew Moss and their children Alex and Everett. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 16, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton. Pastor Jeff Seekins will officiate with interment at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital. Memories may be shared with the family online at www.hale-sarver.com
