Robert I Honeyman

Robert I. Honeyman of West Milton, age 76, passed away on June 20, 2018 at Hospice of Miami County.  He was born on November 28, 1941 to the late Lloyd and Dorothea (Seeker) Honeyman in Troy, Ohio.  Robert is survived by his loving children Kevin (Jennifer) Honeyman of Troy and Amy M. Honeyman & Mark Rupert of Portland, Oregon; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his brother Larry (Patty) Honeyman; and close friend Judi Brown. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Gloria (Bright) Honeyman, and his sister Linda Caddy.  Robert was a graduate of Milton-Union High School in the class of 1961.  He was a member of the Laura Lions Club and founder of Honeyman Auctioneering.  He was also a long-time employee of Milton-Union Schools, where he served in the maintenance department. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St., West Milton.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 23 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.  Memories and condolences may be left for the family online at www.hale-sarver.com.
