Robert Kindell, age 92, of West Milton, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born December 12, 1931 to Clarence & Naomi (Conway) Kindell in Troy, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Norma Jean (Coppock) Kindell of 72 years; son David (Michelle) Kindell; daughter-in-law Marcia (Neisley) Kindell; brother Donald Kindell
He will be missed and remembered by his children Brent Kindell of Ludlow Falls, and Beverly (Ronald) Wogoman of Troy; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Robert was a 1951 Milton Union High School graduate as well as earning his State Farmer’s Degree in 1951. He raised hogs, worked for the Farm Bureau, worked on a dairy farm and farmed. Robert received his American Farmer’s Degree in 1954 and in 1956 he started Kindell Tool & Die with his parents and wife Jean. He worked for Kindell Tool & Die for 29 years and during that time he enlarged the shop several times including adding on in 1980. In 1984, Bob received a contract with NASA Space Center in Florida and shipped the unit in 1985. Bob started KT Consultants in his home and worked for 26 years then retired after 55 years of service.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salem Church of the Brethren.
