Robert Edward Thies

Robert Edward Thies, age 67, of Tipp City, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at his home. He was born May 25, 1959 to Paul Donald Thies and Martha (Spitzig) Kirkland in Dayton, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his father. He will be missed and remembered by his loving mother Martha (Spitzig) Kirkland; daughter Jennifer Perrin of Noblesville, IN; siblings Richard (Debra) Thies of Union and Constance (Rick) Sowry of Arcanum.

Robert had a great love for his dogs and enjoyed spending time riding his golf cart.

The family will receive friends 9:30 – 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton.
