Roy Thomas Spicer, age 79, of West Milton, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He was born August 12, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to his parents John Stanley Spicer and Margie Ann Keal.
Roy graduated from Trotwood Madison High School (some college). Roy was awarded a diploma from the U.S. Army Signal School, he also received many awards and a certificate of achievement with his 32 years of working for Ohio Bell and AT&T. He was a member of the CrossRoads of America Bass Club and loved going fishing. Roy took the death of his loving wife Patsy hard and talked to everyone about her thoughtfulness and how kind she was to everyone she came in contact with.
Roy & Pat’s children: Leda Michelle Spicer of Seguin, TX, Chad Alan & Jeannie Spicer of West Milton; grandchildren Alex Landwehr, Valerie Spicer, Canyon, River, Ridge Spicer; great grandchildren Landon Burton, Maple Spicer, Sylas Spicer; brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Anita Nemick of Westfield, NC; brother-in-law Lloyd Smith; father-in-law Ellis Nemick.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM- 12 PM on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery, Laura. Memories of Roy may be left for the family online at www.hale-sarver.com.
