Ruth Lea Adkins

Ruth Lea Adkins (85) died peacefully at her home in Ludlow Falls, Ohio on March 23, 2026. She was born in Crites, Logan County, West Virginia. In 1958, Ruth and her husband, Harold, moved to Dayton, Ohio for better employment opportunities and in 1970 they relocated to the Ludlow Falls, Ohio area.

They are the parents of two sons, Harold, Jr. (Hal) Adkins, who lives in Winter Park, Florida with his wife, Donna; and Craig Adkins, who lives with his wife, Youngmi, at the family home in Ludlow Falls, Ohio. Ruth is also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. All who knew her felt her kindness, her thoughtfulness, and her willingness to help others, even strangers. She will be especially missed by her posterity who love and adore her but who also rejoice that she is now reunited with her loving companion of 62 years, Harold, who passed away in 2019.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton.
