Ruth Ann Mattis

Ruth Ann Mattis, age 78, of West Milton, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026. She was born June 15, 1948 to Kenneth Myron & Audrey Anna (Winert) Mattis in Greenville, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Edward Mattis; sister-in-law Esther (Klepinger) Mattis.

She will be missed and remembered by her brother and sister-in-law Kenneth Lee & Jean Mattis; nephew Kenneth Robert Mattis; niece Carol Brubaker Fox; and numerous cousins.

Ruth Ann was a Northmont High School graduate and a past member of the Potsdam United Methodist Church. She also retired from Riverside in Troy after many years of service.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Arlington Cemetery, Brookville. The family will receive friends from 5-6 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a memorial service beginning at 6:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Board of Development Disabilities (Riverside Troy), 1625 Troy-Sidney Rd, Troy, OH 45373.
