Sally I. Lutz
Age 83, of West Milton, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born July 30, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio, to her parents Harry & Dorothy (Wagner) Shaw. Sally graduated from Randolph High School class of 1957. Following high school, she married Charles R. Lutz in Liberty, Indiana, and together they raised their family and shared a life for over 61 years. She worked as a secretary in Ft. Stewart, Georgia from 1959-1961 and worked in finance at Wright Patterson Air Force Base from 1962-1964. She worked as a homemaker from 1964-1970, then began employment as a bus driver for Milton-Union Schools until she retired in 1998. Sally served as president of the Milton-Union Schools Union and enjoyed playing cards and crocheting. She was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals fan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles R. Lutz; brothers Harry Shaw and David Shaw. She will be missed and remembered by her sons and daughters-in-law Eric & Helen Lutz of Medway, Kerry & Tammy Lutz of West Milton; grandchildren Andy Lutz, Allen Lutz, Adrienne Lutz (Randy), William Lewis (Trish), Jonathan Lewis (Whitney); 5 great grandchildren Henry, Greyson, Scarlett, Emersyn, and Dalton. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 8, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment following at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
