Sharon Ann McGlinch

Sharon Ann McGlinch, age 81, of Ludlow Falls, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 21, 1944 to Alfred & Antoinette (Plassenthal) Bohse in Dayton, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband Gary Trost; grandson Douglas “Jacob” Willoughby; brother Edward Bohse.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband Charles Louis McGlinch of 23 years; children Lisa (David) Atkins of Byrdstown, TN, Timothy (Emily) Trost of Tipp City, Kimberly (Kyle) Grilliot of Spring Valley, Keith (Tracy) Trost of Laura, Angela (Doug) Willoughby of Pleasant Hill, Matthew (Samantha) Trost of Honor, MI, Michelle Dunlevy of Bradford, and Deb (Mike) Sell of Bradford; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Elaine Leslie of Kentucky, Charles (Kelly) Bohse of Englewood, Marc (Felicia) Bohse of New Madison, Mary (Jerry) Dye of Laura; sister-in-law Phyllis Bohse of West Milton.

Sharon was a longtime member of the Church of the Transfiguration. She loved sewing, cooking, baking pies, but most of all spending time with her family.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 20, 2026 at the Church of the Transfiguration, 972 S. Miami St, West Milton. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery, Ludlow Falls. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Sunday, April 19 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton.
