Sharon Lee (Foland) Smith

Sharon Lee (Foland) Smith, age 86, of Tipp City, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. She was born June 5, 1938 to Frederick Ottis & Lula Mae (Roberts) Foland in Dayton, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Herbert C. Smith; son Derick Steven Smith; siblings Georgia Ann (William) Parsons and Frederick Leroy (Marge) Foland.

She will be missed and remembered by her sister Barbara Ellen Foland of Troy; nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Sharon was a Patterson Co-op High School graduate. She was a member of the Red Hatters and Sir Optimists Club. She loved flowers, going shopping and her cats.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Burial will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County.
