Terry Joe Brown, age 80, of Laura, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born January 16, 1941 to the late Charles Eldon & Virginia Mae (Spitler) Brown in Laura, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents; stepdad Robert Thompson; sister Shirley Locker; and brother-in-law Kenny Pence. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Theresa “Terri” Louise (Abshire) Brown of 58 years; children Kirk Sowry (Kristine Vanderhorst) of Naples, FL, Billy Brown (Angela Ross) of Saint Paris; Tony Brown (Tammy Turner) of Ludlow Falls; grandchildren Nicole (Cory) Lavey, Ryan (Molly) Sowry, and Hilleary Ross (Kevin Klattie); great grandchildren Liddy and Carson Lavey, and Sutton Sowry; siblings Ronnie Brown (Linda Flick) of Covington, Carol Pence of Covington, Darlene (Paul) Kenworthy of Covington and Lisa (Larry) Hammond of Lehigh Acres, FL; brother-in-law Keith Locker of Covington. Terry retired from General Motors and was a member of the Eagles #971 in Troy. He loved his paw kids especially Roxy, enjoyed his farm, airplanes, corvettes, remodeling homes, casinos and listening to Elvis. The family will receive friends from 10 AM- 12 PM on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill. Memorial contributions may be made to His Hands Extended Sanctuary, 1560 Dialton Rd, Saint Paris, OH 43072.
