Terry E. Zellers

Age 70, of Laura, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at his home. He was born July 31, 1951, in Ohio, to his parents Ralph E. & Sarah E. (Ullery) Zellers. Terry graduated from Milton-Union High School class of 1969 and retired from the International Union of Operating Engineers as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed playing golf, mushroom hunting, walking his dogs, mowing the grass and telling bad jokes. He also was an avid Milton-Union Athletics fan, especially football, and was the co-founder of the Miami Valle y Mounted Search and Rescue Team. Terry was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Marine Corp. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Kathi L. (McAfee) Zellers; sons and daughter-in-law Sean Zellers of California, Shane & Diane Zellers of California; grandson Gabriel Zellers; sister Shirley Garner of Tennessee; brother and sister-n-law Jerry & Sarah Zellers of Phillipsburg; sister-in-law Kelley Orians; niece Meghan Orians; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Bill Zellers, Jack Zellers, Pat Pitman, Betty Davis.  The family would like to thank Hospice of Miami County for the care they showed to Terry during his illness. Services will be held 6:30 PM Friday, January 7, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton. The family will receive friends from 5:30-6:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
