Thomas C. Warner
Age 80, of Union, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025. He was born February 26, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, to his parents Clinton & Velma (Johns) Warner. Tom graduated from Milton-Union High School class of 1963. On July 20, 1963, he married Jane Fetters and together they shared a life for over 61 years until her passing three weeks ago. He started his career as a tool and die maker, serving at prominent companies such as NCR, Frigidaire, and eventually retiring from Delphi. His skilled hands and were not confined to his day job, as he was also the proud owner of Warner Photography. That very talent became a vital part of his wife's achievement as he contributed all the photography for her Swarovski crystal book.
His interests painted the picture of a man who not only valued precision in his work but also the wild freedom of open roads and skies. As a member of the GWRRA (Gold Wing Road Riders Association), Tom and his friends enjoyed countless journeys upon their cherished Gold Wing motorcycles. An aviation enthusiast, Tom volunteered at air shows and dedicated time to the balloon chase crew at Smith Park's notable launches in Middletown.
Remarkably, Tom reached platinum status as a blood donor, a testament to his generosity and kind spirit. He was also an avid collector of Coke memorabilia. Known for his kindness and humor, Tom Warner leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.He will be missed and remembered by his daughter and son-in-law Angie & David McIntosh of Middletown, son and daughter-in-law Jeff & Kathy Warner of Fairfield; grandchildren and their spouses Kurtis & Annah McIntosh of Middletown, Jillian McIntosh of Orlando, Rocky McIntosh of South Bend, Tyler Warner of Fairfield, Zachary Warner of Fairfield.He was preceded in death by his loving wife Jane (Fetters) Warner; his parents; grandson William McIntosh; sister Gloria Ann Fetters.Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, May 17, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment following at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
