Thomas Wray

Thomas “Butch” Bentley Wray, age 84, of West Milton, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 4, 1941 to Maurice Bentley Wray & Helen (Durst) Reames in Troy, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his parents; stepfather Jack Reames. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Patsy Ellen (Booher) Wray of 55 years; children Shanda (Chad) Gostomsky of West Milton, Chad Wray of West Milton; grandchildren Sierra (Colin) Gump, Connor (Courtney) Gostomsky, and Emaline Wray; siblings Janet Gardner of Portland, OR, and Bart (Jill) Reames of Vandalia.

Tom served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Tom retired from BF Goodrich as a designer for Aerospace and Defense after over 30 years of service. He attended Victory Church in Tipp City and loved taking rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his wife. He loved playing racquetball, going line dancing, playing volleyball at the YMCA and spending time watching all his grandchildren play sports.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM-1 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Memorial contributions may be made to Care360 Hospice. Online memories of Tom may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
