Timothy Benjamin Delk (“Ben”), 17, of Arcanum, Ohio passed away on February 28, 2026. Born on June 20, 2008, Ben entered this world with a vibrant spirit and a heart full of love. In his seventeen years, he brought warmth, laughter, and an unmistakable light everywhere he went.
Ben cared deeply for his family and friends. He was incredibly sharp, thoughtful, and quick-witted, with a natural curiosity about the world around him. He had a magnetic energy and a smile that made others feel seen and truly valued.
He stood in that beautiful space between boyhood and manhood — dreaming big, thinking deeply, and becoming more himself with each passing day. Whether he was spending time with friends and family, helping out with his church, sharing his ideas, or simply being his authentic self, Ben had a way of making ordinary moments brighter.
He is survived by his loving mother, Vanessa Delk; his father, Timothy Delk; his brothers, Andrew Delk, Bryson and wife Jalyn Delk ; his grandparents, Jennifer Davis, Tim and Teresa Delk, Darlene and Brent Luckenbill; great grandma Ruth Shannon; his aunts and uncles, Hannah Davis, Nikki and Bryan Knapp, David and Catey Delk, TJ Wagner, Maggie and Jesse Klepinger, Tanner Delk, Tristan Delk; along with cousins, extended family members and countless friends who cherished him deeply. The bond he shared with his family was strong, and his love for them was evident in everything he did.
Though his time here was heartbreakingly short, the love he gave and the light he shared will never fade. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Memorial gathering will be held from 1-4 PM on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Church of the Brethren Youth Group Fund, 7240 Peters Rd, Tipp City, OH 45371.
