Vernon W Koopman

Vernon Walter Koopman, age 90, of Versailles, formerly of Graysville, TN, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Hospice of Miami County. He was born on September 20, 1934 to Henry William & Leona (Ziegler) Koopman in West Salem, Wisconsin.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife LaDonna (Martin) Koopman; daughter Beverly Jean Hall; brothers Earl, Gaylord, Rudolph, Maynard, Raymond, and Robert Koopman; sisters Katherine Beebe, Lucille Axelson, Minetta Yount, Myrtle Bruin, and Joyce Paulson.

He will be missed and remembered by his sons Brian (Paula) Koopman, Gerald (Ellen) Rue, and Keith (Elaine) Rue; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren;  brother Orville Koopman.

Vernon retired from Dinner Bell after 25 years of service. Before moving back to Ohio, Vernon lived in Graysville, TN near his granddaughters for many years.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.
