Vicki Cain

Vicki (Moore) Cain, age 69, of Laura, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 13, 1956, to Arthur & Audrey (Campbell) Moore in Dayton, Ohio. Vicki graduated from Milton-Union High School Class of 1974 and retired as an audit specialist with Miami County Job and Family Service after 31 years of employment.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bradford.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Rosetta English and Charles Moore; brother-in-law Scott Miller. 

She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband Floyd Cain Jr of 18 years; her children Wayne Jones, Codi Lucas, Shonda Jones, Jenn Cain, Megan Winemiller, and Chris Hudelson; grandchildren Callie Hutton, Emma Vargas, Corey Jones, Dylan Lucas, Bailey Lucas, Briggs Lucas, Blake Lucas, Dakota Rhynard, Davi Schwarz, Keely Yantis, Kory Yantis, Zoe Kellems, Mia Kellems, Katrina Herron; great grandchildren Michael Manning, Elora O’Brien, Tommy O’Brien, Eli O’Brien, Sophia Herron, Stella Herron, and Leia Herron; siblings Dean (Stephanie) Moore, Geneva (Neal) Hoffman, Larry (Julie) Moore, Loretta Miller, and Flora (Darrell “Randy”) Sanders; aunt Rachel Carr; sister-in-law Cheryl Moore; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. In honor of Vicki, the family would welcome you wear purple, her favorite color, to the visitation and funeral service. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 25, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Burial will follow in Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County.  Memories of Vicki may be left for the family online at www.hale-sarver.com.
