Virgil Ray Kingsley, age 72, of New Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born April 7, 1948 to the late Raymond Roy & Patricia (LeVan) Kingsley in Dayton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his biological father Raymond (Betty) Roy; adopted father Ira Dean Kingsley and mother Patricia Kingsley; son David Kingsley and brother Vernon Kingsley. He is survived by his son Steve Kingsley of New Carlisle; sibilngs Rosemary (Marvin) Wieser of Tipp City, Cheryl Radvan of Chandler, AZ, Marcia (Matt) Shaw of Alabama, Valerie (Joe) Corral of Gilbert, AZ, Rick Roy of Columbus and Robyn Lichtfield of Kentucky; niece Susan Wieser and numerous other nieces and nephews and his pet cat companion Lucky. Virgil served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW, Eagles, and American Legion in New Carlisle and was a die-hard Cincinnati Bengals Fan. A memorial service to honor Virgil’s life will be held at a later date. Interment will be held in Willow View Cemetery at a later date.
