Wayne Allen Kopp, age 73, of Ludlow Falls, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 1, 1950 to Max Ray & Evylyn Joanne (Landis) Kopp in Piqua, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Winston (Marie) Kopp. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Nancy Leona (Whetstone) Kopp of 48 years; daughters Marti (Conrad) Freihofer of Union, KY and Kelly Kopp of Ludlow Falls; grandchildren Alyssa, Thomas, Christopher, and Matthew Freihofer.
Wayne graduated from Milton-Union High School class of 1968. He was an active member of the Ludlow Falls Christian Church and retired as Water Treatment Plant Supervisor for the City of Piqua. He was a member of the American Water Works Association, volunteered at the United States Air Force Museum and loved playing golf. He was an active member of the Brethren Disaster Ministries.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Tuesday, January 30, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Ludlow Falls Christian Church Mission Fund.
