William "Bill" Balser Obituary

William “Bill” Balser of Union, age 83, passed away on November 1, 2022 at the Dayton VA Hospice Center. Bill was born on January 10, 1939 in Elizabeth Township, Ohio to the late Henry and Nellie (Watson) Balser. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine (Fish) Balser and brother, James Balser. Bill is survived by his daughters Deanna (Mark) Hall of Mission, Texas and Rebecca Franklin of Huber Heights; grandchildren Jacki and Cera; four great-grandchildren; good friend & neighbor, Larry Hurd; and siblings Dick (Deena) Balser, Susie McManis and Faye (Dave) McQuality.

Bill proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and belonged to the FOE (Eagles) Troy #971. He enjoyed golf, bowling, pool, darts and rodeos.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, with arrangements entrusted to Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home in West Milton. Messages of sympathy may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
