Yvonne "Bonnie" J. Busse

Yvonne “Bonnie” J. Busse, age 95, of West Milton, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Storypoint Troy. She was born August 13, 1929 to Vernon C. & Pearl A. (Filkill) Smedley in Zanesville, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Harry J. Busse Jr. She will be missed and remembered by her loving children Harry J. Busse (Rita) of West Milton, Deborah Duhl of West Milton, David "Mike” Busse of West Milton, and Chris Busse of West Milton; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; siblings Patricia Shafer of West Milton and Vernon “Bud” Smedley of Fort Myers, FL.

Bonnie was a graduate of Fairview High School in Dayton and received an Art Degree from the Dayton Art Institute. She was a bookkeeper for Smedley’s Chevrolet and was a member of the Triangle R Riding Club where she met her husband. Bonnie was a friend of the Milton-Union Public Library and enjoyed trips to the family cabin in Michigan.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.
