I had a great time working with Cody on an IHOP commercial a few months back. He was so enthusiastic and upbeat and just a great guy to be around. He lit up the room. His presence will be missed.

First of all i wanna send my condolences to you brian beth and meggan. Cody was one of my best friends. Im so glad i got to spend the time i did with him and build our friendship together. We were so close and always had so much fun together at work. He always knew how to put a smile on my face when i was mad or sad. He would always let me vent to him about anything and everything. You are going to be greatly missed cody. You were such an awesome person and a great friend to me. I will cherish our friendship forever and ever. You were the peanut to my butter, the water to my ocean, the spring in my step, the twinkle in my eye, the blue in my sky, the cherry to my sundae, the sweet to my dreams, but most importantly the beat of my heart, you were my best friend and it was known from the start. You will be forever missed cody. I remember one of the first things you ever said to me was that you were going to build us a castle and i would be your princess. I will forever remember that cody. This isnt goodbye but its a see you again someday. R.i.p cody gone but not forgotten.

We are deeply saddened for the loss of Cody. While the mourning of his death is beyond any of our words to express, I too lost a child almost 30 years to the day and do know that life has to go on here. Being a strong believer in our God and his plans, and maker of our eternal home, I do know that Cody is cared for and is with Bob, Glenn and others that preceded him and it is my belief in the arms of our Heavenly Father patiently awaiting all to be together again. Knowing the truth makes this world's sorrows disappear and all tears dry, pain and worry gone for him. Our love keeps going out and we lose the rebound back to us in this world, but he is loving all with all his heart, and soul in knowing faith, unseen or felt, in this world. Bless Brian, Beth and all family members, you are in our hearts and prayers...

I just found out today about Cody, I am so sorry to hear this sad news, it is devastating to a family to lose a child, I have seen it too often in the last year, my son Nathan's best friend lost his sister in a horrific car accident, they try and try to get thru every minute of every day but it is not easy. I hope and pray that God's strength will lead you and help you through. I love and miss you

Dear Beth and Brian,
I remember when that sweet boy of yours was a little rug rat running around church, and before my very eyes, while we all attended "gym church" it's like he became a grown man overnight. He was just absolutely adorable (yes, he looked like his father), but he had such a kind, tender heart like his momma. I knew he was such a phenom in his baseball days, but what truly made him special was that he belonged to our sweet Savior. I cannot even begin to express to you the pain in my heart when mom told me just last night, and I want you to know that if I had only one prayer it would be for the Lord to wrap you in His arms and comfort you. He was not that much older than Teran, and I couldn't even fathom being without my child. You are two of the kindest, sweetest people I know, and I pray your days will be filled with loving memories of your beautiful son and your nights blanketed with God's sweet grace. Take care of M because she's going to need you more than ever, and know that there are people who will never cease to pray for you. I love you...Sondra and Bryan

Brian and Beth,

I heard of Cody's passing and my heart breaks for you. I know there are no words that anyone can say that will truly give you peace or take away the hurt you feel, therefore I pray that God will give you the strength and comfort you need in this time of sorrow.

Ecclesiastes 3, says that there is a time for everything...A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. I pray that in the days ahead that God will help you to laugh again.

Brian, Beth, and Meggan, our hearts are aching for you as we express our condolences. I pray that the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will cover you as the days, months, and years continue. I'm thankful that my brother had the privilidge to create memories with Cody that were mostly full of joy and excitement. I'll never forget watching in amazement as Cody helped heave our huge swing set over the fence and get it positioned just right in our backyard. He always seemed up for a challenge!

Our last day together at work I spent the whole day singing "This little light of mine" to him so I could get it stuck in his head. I made a point to make him smile everyday. There was never a dull moment with Cody around. I have missed him already so much this week. I feel good knowing the last thing I said to him was Cody, Jesus loves you and so do I." He was a good friend of mine. Brian and Beth, my deepest sympathy goes to you. I pray for God to comfort you both.
