Patrick John McCabe

Age 70, of Union, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at his home. He was born November 4, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to his parents Charles & Mary (Dugan) McCabe. Patrick graduated from McNicholas High School and completed his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati. On December 11, 1970, he married Carolyn Jean Scott in Fairborn, Ohio, and together they shared a life and raised their family for over 45 years. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Carolyn McCabe; children Colin Patrick McCabe of Fairborn, Brigid Ann McCabe of Union, Kevin Patrick McCabe of Malvern, Pennsylvania, Brendan Patrick McCabe of Union, Cormac (Catherine) McCabe Jacksonville, FL; granddaughter Ingrid McCabe; siblings Michael (Peggy) McCabe of Marietta, GA, Mary Lutterbach of Vincennes, IN, Timothy (Pamela) McCabe of Batavia, Daniel (Lillian) McCabe of Largo, FL, Dennis McCabe of Cincinnati, Kevin (Judy) McCabe of Cincinnati. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 AM Friday, August 26, at the Transfiguration Catholic Church, 972 S. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment following at Minnich Cemetery, Union, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 AM Friday at the church. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Transfiguration Catholic Church.
