Richard Dean Brown, Age 81, of West Milton, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born October 4, 1935 to the late Donald & Mary (Fourman) Brown in West Milton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his first wife Joyce Brown, grandson Justin Dean Brown, 8 brothers and sisters, and daughter Brenda. He will be missed and remembered by his wife Shirley (Bowman) Brown of West Milton; children Rick (Vanessa) Brown of Union, Melinda (Mike) Ullery of Troy, Durenda Brown of West Milton, Dena Jones of West Milton, and Brian (Kim) Karns of Troy; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren. Dean loved to go fishing, raise meal worms, going to McDonalds every morning, and playing cards with his family. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 30 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, November 29 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital, 1 Childrens Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404.
