Paul D. Trissell, Age 81, of Laura, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at Springmeade Healthcenter. He was born September 13, 1935 to the late Clarence & Lucille (Rush) Trissell in Piqua, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his sons Eric and grandson Patrick Shoup; siblings Wineford TerAvest, Clarence Trissell and Stanley Trissell. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Linda E. (Smith) Trissell of Laura; daughter Judy (Dave) Manners of Summerville, SC; sons Mike (Mary) Trissell of Cincinnati, Nolan (Doris) Sims of Vandalia, Christopher Sims (Winnie Mallory) of West Milton and Brian (Jenny) Sims of West Milton; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother Rudolph (Lyn) Trissell of Sidney; sister-in-law Anna Trissell of Fletcher. Paul was a member of the Lena Masonic Lodge. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 29 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with Pastor Dave Manners officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
